This workshop offers no-nonsense, common-sense lessons for writing in the workplace, with real solutions to the everyday problems in professional writing. This workshop also focuses on how to continue an ability to think and write clearly, the nuts and bolts of putting together clear sentences, well developed paragraphs, and coherent documents, whether it’s a business letter, a report, or a lengthy analytical assessment.

Focus will be given exclusively on the work of writing, beginning with the basics of grammar and punctuation and work up to larger issues of diction, style, and organization. An analysis will be given on recurring problems in (and examples from) technical and professional writing of all kinds-from letter-writing to reports and analytical documents.
