Elias Duran – NCCER Construction Training Coordinator

Developed by the construction industry for the construction industry, the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) program is one of the leading nationally accredited, competency-based construction training programs in the United States.

This 6-week course includes both the NCCER Core Curriculum and the NCCER Carpentry Level 1. This comprehensive training program provides trainees with a solid foundation of general knowledge and the hands-on skill building necessary to enter the Construction Trades. This training is eligible for funding through the Alaska Student Loan program.

Upon successful completion of the course, trainees will receive nationally recognized NCCER certificates, wallet cards, transcripts (standardized training allows trainees to continue their training throughout the USA), and inclusion in the NCCER national registry (allows employers to access student training records for verification).
